Scotland, days 36 & 37

Day 36

The Glamis castle.

We spend whole day walking around  the area of the castle, and we also went on tour inside the castle.

Glamis castle was just like the Hogwarts from Harry Potter books!! OAO
We used secret doors to enter in the next room and.... It was too cool!!
(...But again, it was not allowed to take pictures... Why?!?!? ;n; )

The garden of Glamis castle was also so pretty!
There was also Highland cows on the fields (Highland cows are cute!)

Day 37

And again, time to move to next host family.
(The week in Dundee will be busy because I will have three different host families!)

My new host family took me to national park where we watched birds and seals with binoculars (that was fun!)

On the way to their home we also stopped on the berry farm. On the farm they gave us baskets and we were allowed to pick as many strawberries (and other berries) as we just could make fit to the basket!! : D

My new host family is growing pheasants, and they also did have horses : D

Scotland, days 34 & 35

Day 34

I slept quite long, but on the afternoon we went to see Echt Show, which is like the Royal Highland Show, but much smaller!

Some men were showing how they make horse shoes
There was an orchestra playing traditional scottish music in the Echt Show
Tug of war competition!

Day 35

Time to leave from Aberdeenshire and move to the area of Dundee, where I will spend my last week in couple different host families.

But before that my host family in Aberdeen took me to see a huge mansion next to the golf course.

When I was in Scotland it felt like that every city and town did have their own golf course. There were so many golf courses everywhere!

On the evening when I came finally to Dundee, my new host family took me to Young Farmers' barbecue party.
On the way to my host family's house, we also stopped to see the Glamis castle.

The Glamis castle
Before I went to sleep we watched couple movies from tv, and I also ate lots of strawberries, which my new host family is growing on their backyard (they were so delicious!)

...My new room was too gorgeous for me ;n; And the whole house was btw like a mansion! Too cool for me..

Scotland, day 33

We went to see Balmoral castle, which is Queen Elisabeth's "holiday castle" in Scotland.

The castle's garden was amazing! (And the castle too, of course!)

Balmoral castle

This green tunnel was cool!

We could visit only in one room inside the castle because the Queen was coming there soon so they were cleaning the castle for her. (And it wasn't allowed to take photos.. Again..)

River Dee near the castle

On the afternoon we went to picnic in a park with my host family.
Near the park was a big building, where are lots of weddings on summer.

The park
The building where are lots of weddings on summer
Inside the building!

The ceiling was full of deer antlers!

On the evenign we went to see Red Hot Chilli Pipers!!

They played lots of songs where they used bagpipes with the other instruments!

It was so awesome, even my ears were hurting after the concert XD (But the music was good, really!)

Scotland, day 32

On the mornign we went to Cairngorm national park!
The views on the way there looked like the Highland's in north!

First we went to one really big mountain called Cairngorm, near Aviemore! We had to use mountain train to get to the top!

There was still snow on the mountains!

The mountain train!

Views from the top!
In the picture you can see Aviemore and Loch Morlich

After coming down from Cairngorm we went to see Loch Morlich.

Loch Morlich
There was so many cute ducks!! <3 (They followed us all the time)
On the way back home we visited in a Heather Centre and also in Scottish Dolphin Centre, where you can try to see dolphins in the ocean! ( We didn't saw any.. ;n; Too bad..)

Scottish dolphin centre!

When we returned back home, we went to see a tiny pink castle called Graigievar!
I was told that the castle inspired Walt Disney to create the Disney castle!!

It's pink!

Scotland, days 30 & 31

Day 30

My first host family showed their farm. They do have lots of Aberdeen Angus cows!

It was more like a "chill out" day for me after visiting on the farm of my host family.

But on the evening it was time to move again to next host family! : O

After my new host family came to pick me up we went to city of Aberdeen to play some crazy golf! ;D It was really fun!

There was a pirate theme on the area where we did play crazy golf

Day 31

My new host family's friend came to pick me up on the morning.

We went to see area where the Queen Elisabeth comes on summer to spend her "summer holiday in Scotland".
(And we went again to one whiskey tour XD )

We also went to see an old bridge crossing a river.

But the best thing on the whole day:

We went to see a secret cave!!! It was damn cool!

To enter in secret cave you had to go in from here! (When the water is up you can't get in)
The SECRET CAVE!!!! (sorry, random people in the picture, just ignore them)

After the secret cave we went to shop where a nice lady makes kilts! She showed us how she makes them : D
And, I heard that Finland does have own tartan!! O__O

http://www.internationaltartans.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/Finnish_large.jpg
If I someday deside to buy a kilt, I definitely want Finland's tartan in it (because it blue!)

On the evening we visited on my host family's grandmother (she was so nice >u< )

View on the way to grandmother. The very sharp mountain in the middle of the picture is Bennachie!

Day 28

It was time to move in new host family and leave from Loch Lomond. This time I was going to  Aberdeen!

We went to Glasgow wait for my bus. Luckily there was some time also check the shops in Galsgow ;D

We saw this street artist in Glasgow. So awesome!!

I arrived on the evening to Aberdeen.
The city of Aberdeen was much bigger than I thought!

My new host family was holding barbecue party because the Scottish tennis player Andy Murray won on that day the big tennis tournament!
We ate hamburgs, and of course, Aberdeen Angus meat! That meat was so delicious! *o*

My room in Aberdeen. My host family had just moved to their new house and my mission was to test their new guest room ;D

Day 29

My host family took me to many different places!

First we went to Stonehaven which is on the east coast of Scotland.

Then we went to the city of Aberdeen and went to see a big beach and an old buildings in the centre of the city.

The huge beach in Aberdeen
On afternoon we went to Bennachie which is the biggest mountain in Aberdeenshire. We were going to clamp to the top of the mountain but it was too hot weather, so we didn't get to the top :<
But the views were awesome from the point where we did get!

We could almost see the ocean from Bennachie!

On the evening we went for a car drive and we drive around the area of Aberdeenshire. I have no idea how long did the car drive take, but the views were so amazing!

We stopped to see this river. On the spring, salmons (?)(or trouts) are jumping up the river .
Last place where we stopped before going back to home. Perfect ending for the car drive!
